Alexia Liakos

Alexia is a Sydney based Artist, with a background in Architectural design. Her practice utilises traditional oil paint medium on a custom stretched canvas to create overlaid, dreamy landscapes, dripping with surreality and vibrance. Creating art which is traditional yet contemporary with her modern themes around psyche and the unknown.

The art is a living product of my own realisations of our most inherent human traits. I use it as a navigation tool to depict the inner and outer worlds to the best of my understanding. An understanding which constantly evolves and becomes more resolved with every piece.
